Approaching August (Hot Yet?)
We're nearing the hottest and most humid part of the year here in the Midwest, and you know what that means. Sweat. And extra laundry. We subscribe to the theory that sweating is always more fun with friends. We also believe that the best way to have fun while sweating with your friends and loved ones is to do so while watching two guys on stage that make sweating look cool, and who makes sweating look cooler than us?! I think there's a pun in there somewhere. Actually, the only events booked in August, as of now, are both indoor solo acoustic sets, so the perspiration will be kept to a minimum.
Curtis is playing a free show at DG's Tap House in Ames, IA on August 18th, and also will be providing softer sounds for a silent art auction fundraiser for Mid-Iowa Community Action's Living with HIV program, also in Ames, IA. (More info on that once everything is set in stone.)
We also have a bunch of live footage that needs to be sifted through and edited, so be on the lookout for that as well.
